An Introduction

 Hello,

   This blog is meant simply to be one thing: a place for noise. Here I will post reviews of CDs, tapes, and records that I own/have listened to, keep an updated list of Habitual Performance titles (the few there are currently,) as well as post about new HP titles when they come out, and attempt to keep up with works-in-progress. Eventually I will interview other noise artists and labels and will post them here. If you enjoy my reviews and would relish the chance to get your stuff reviewed just shoot me an email.

A few things about myself to start. My name is CB. I am Texas born and raised, and have traveled/lived all across the U.S.A., though I now currently live in Mexico. I have been a noise enthusiast for about 5 years, and a noise artist for 3 years. I record primarily under the project muttering (stylized with a lower case m) with a few other one-off projects here and there. Habitual Performance is the umbrella name which everything I release goes under. I wouldn't call HP a "label" as of yet. Some muttering titles can be found from Absurd Exposition, and Abhorrent A.D., with hopefully more to come in the future from other labels.
